Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable (A/P) Assistant to support our client's accounting and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter invoices into QuickBooks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match packing slips with corresponding invoices
  • Learn and apply proper invoice coding for data entry
  • Assist with general accounts payable duties as needed
  • Provide general office support and assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment
  • Accurate and timely invoice processing
  • Well-organized documentation and records
  • Efficient support of daily office operations
  • Professional and courteous handling of phone communications

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Professional communication and phone etiquette
