Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and dependable Concrete Finishers and Laborers to join our construction team. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for placing, leveling, finishing, and curing concrete surfaces for structural and flatwork applications on an active construction project. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a focus on quality, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Place, spread, and level poured concrete using hand tools and equipment (screeds, floats, trowels, power finishers).
• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces to specified tolerances and finishes (broom, smooth, stamped, or decorative).
• Set forms, verify elevations, and ensure proper alignment and grading.
• Apply curing compounds and sealants to protect finished concrete.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques accordingly.
• Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces as required.
• Operate concrete-related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and follow project plans, specifications, and directions from supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a concrete finisher on commercial, residential, or civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and grades.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to perform heavy labor, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
