Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client.
We are seeking a reliable and professional individual to install mobile radios and electronic communications equipment in police, fire, and highway maintenance vehicles, as well as related equipment installed in office environments. This role requires direct interaction with customers and the ability to perform installations independently or as part of a small team.
Work is performed within a 100-mile radius of Jamestown, NY. Schedules may vary based on customer needs, with start times ranging between 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Many workweeks exceed 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Install mobile radios and electronic communications equipment in public safety and municipal vehicles
- Perform office-based equipment installations when required
- Interface professionally with customers to understand needs and resolve issues fairly
- Perform mechanical and electrical mounting, routing, and connection of equipment
- Work independently or as part of a small crew depending on project requirements
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and conduct at all times

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to position and hold up to 40 lbs
- Ability to move up to 150 lbs with mechanical assistance or help from coworkers
- Ability to bend, twist, stretch, and work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working on ladders and in tight areas
- Ability to distinguish colors and work with small components
Pay starts off at $16.50 with an increase once hired on.
