A family-owned job shop specializing in aluminum salt bath brazing, proudly serving both the commercial and aerospace industries dedicated to quality, precision, and exceptional customer service is seeking an Air Grinder Operator to join their team.

Summary: The Air Grinder Operator is responsible for finishing aluminum assemblies by removing tack welds and smoothing rough edges using air-powered grinding tools. This role is critical to ensuring components meet quality and appearance standards prior to final processing or delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate air grinding tools to remove tack welds from aluminum assemblies.
• Smooth and finish rough edges to meet quality and dimensional specifications.
• Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure proper finishing standards are achieved.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with shop standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.
• Previous experience using air grinders or similar hand tools preferred.
• Ability to work with aluminum components and understand material handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions or blueprints is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop environment.
