Die Setter(3rd shift)

Salary: $18.00 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and diligent candidates for a Die Setter position with an International Leading Manufacturing Company. This position will pay $18 / hour and the hours are for 3rd Shift.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects products for contaminants prior to painting
• Sprays surfaces of manufactured products with material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer
• Tends vacuum metalizing equipment that deposits decorative or protective coating of specified metal on metal, glass, or plastic objects. 
• Packages materials and products
• Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process
• Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous related experience or training in a similar environment
• Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Capable of driving a fork truck
• Posses familiarity with paint mixing and spraying equipment
• Previous experience with spray guns and pressure pots is a plus
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and lifting
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel toed shoes/boots, and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
