About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented IT Systems Technician to join our team. This position involves building and maintaining computer systems, supporting network infrastructure, and ensuring all hardware and software components operate smoothly. We welcome applicants with minimal experience who are eager to learn—training will be provided. You are building computers to train Pilots. 

Key Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and configure computer systems, including hardware components and peripherals.

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, servers, IP configurations, and related infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and drivers.

• Perform regular system upgrades to ensure all equipment remains secure and up to date.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system failures efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, upgrades, and system changes for future reference.

• Manage IT components, including servers, network devices, and system inventories.

• Support users with technical issues and provide clear, solution‑focused communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware components, and IT fundamentals.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.

• Ability to identify system bugs or failures and restore functionality quickly.

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience building computers or working with hardware.

• Familiarity with networks, servers, or IP management.

• Previous IT support or help desk experience.
