HR Business Partner
Our client, an established manufacturing company is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their growing team!

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and coaching on issues related to legal and procedural compliance, employee/labour relations, workforce planning, talent and performance management, recruitment & selection of senior roles, compensation, and organizational development.
- Help leadership team navigate workforce planning, and drive the process of bringing the plan of fruition and keep it on track
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for the plant, including hourly and salary roles for all departments
- Partner with Payroll to proactively address payroll issues – train/coach leadership on best practices for ADP Workforce Now
- Identify and address issues/trends that may affect the overall health of the organization including morale, turnover, absenteeism, efficiency, and productivity
- Work closely with line managers to identify and resolve HR issues as they arise while promoting positive employee/management relations in carrying out day-to-day HR services and support.
- Keep up to date and ensure compliance with various HR related legislative requirements, on employment laws and emerging trends
- Create and provide reports, including KPI’s metrics as required.
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years HR business partner experience, helping management manage
- Labour relations experience an asset
- Leadership development experience – coaching other leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- High degree of flexibility to support 3 shift, 24 hour operation
- Hands-on leadership with a high degree of accountability
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Track record for creating and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships at all levels of an organization
- Results driven with a proven ability to execute quickly, effectively, deliver consistently and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Experience working in a complex, evolving and fast paced environments
