Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified Operator who can work independently and bring strong knowledge and experience in water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, and construction.

The ideal candidate is:

Key Responsibilities

Oversee operations of multiple water and/or wastewater systems

Perform routine system checks and maintenance

Collect water and/or wastewater samples

Operate, inspect, test, and maintain:

Pumps, wells, and tanks

Water treatment and storage facilities

Air compressors, telemetry systems, and emergency systems

Chemical injection and pressure systems

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements

Review permits, discharge requirements, and analytical test results

Communicate professionally with regulatory agencies

Complete reports (monthly, quarterly, annually)

Coordinate tasks, track deadlines, and ensure project completion

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

Support multiple supervisors and ongoing operations

Assist with business development, including meeting clients and preparing proposals
