Maintenance Technician

Located in Vista, CA

Salary: $27.50-$32hr

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Prioritize and resolve downtime issues efficiently.
• Assist with installation and upgrades of new equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
• (Level 3) Lead projects, support capital improvements, and mentor team members.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in food & beverage manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Work Environment:

• Food manufacturing facility (wet/dry, temperatures from 25°F to 115°F).
• Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule: 6am-7am start time (3-6 month LOA coverage)
