Quality Control Operator - $18.50/HOUR

A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs a Quality Control Operator. Quality Control Operators conduct inspections at various production stages, operate measuring equipment, document results, and accept/reject finished items. Key skills include attention to detail and technical proficiency.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use a variety of tools to do quality control tests of certain types of raw materials, parts, semi-finished products, finished products, etc. according to the defined quality standards, specifications, samples, and tolerances by applying designated quality control and measurement techniques and methods. To use precision tools for measurement and to test their correctness through comparing and other similar methods.
• To fill out the quality control reports, charts and forms according to the requirements and make the data entries to the required systems.
• To inform his/her supervisor about the related processes and products in order to give quality approval for the production.
• To maintain a clean work area.
• To work in accordance with the safety and environmental rules.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
