Express seeks a dedicated, dependable, and skilled Roll Clamp Forklift Operator to join a dynamic team and ensure efficient material handling.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour (Depends on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday – 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed)

Job Summary: The Roll Clamp Operator is responsible for safely operating a forklift equipped with a roll clamp attachment to handle large paper rolls. Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving materials within the warehouse or production areas, and ensuring that rolls are transported without damage. The operator must follow all safety protocols, maintain equipment, and accurately record inventory movements using RF scanning.

Responsibilities

• Load and un-load all incoming and outgoing trailers, including box/rail cars.
• Properly put away and pick products using RF scanning technology within the WMS.
• Perform daily inspections on forklift and other equipment.
• Obey all safety requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment and adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment.
• All other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• 2+ years recent experience driving forklift.
• Must have recent roll clamp experience.
• Current forklift certification required or we will certify on site with proof for recently expired certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards•
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand 10 hours
• Flexible to work throughout standard hours of operation, weekends and extended hours if necessary

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
• Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
• Having a good sense of balance
• Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
• Overtime may be required
