Sales Manager

The Outside Sales Manager will oversee and grow our HVAC replacement sales program. This role combines leadership, strategy, and hands-on selling. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing—while coaching and developing a small team of comfort advisors. Success in this role means increasing replacement revenue, improving close rates, and elevating the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of outside sales/comfort advisors
Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present replacement options
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow replacement revenue
Track KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement improvement plans
Build strong relationships with homeowners, referral partners, and internal service teams
Ensure accurate proposals, financing options, and follow-up processes
Maintain a high level of product knowledge on HVAC systems, accessories, and energy efficiency solutions
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset
Qualifications
3+ years of outside sales experience; HVAC replacement sales strongly preferred
Holds a minimum H3 license, H2 preferred
Prior leadership or team management experience
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to diagnose customer needs and present tailored solutions
Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear goals
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Tech-savvy with CRM and digital sales tools
