CDL Driver 

Job Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting fumigation equipment, chemicals, and crew members to and from job sites. This role supports fumigation operations by ensuring timely delivery, proper handling of hazardous materials, and compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles (CDL-required) to transport fumigation equipment and materials.
• Load and unload tarps, gas cylinders, and other fumigation supplies.
• Assist fumigation technicians with setup and breakdown at job sites.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Safely handle and transport hazardous materials in compliance with EPA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs.
• Ensure proper storage and security of fumigation chemicals.
• Maintain accurate delivery and service records.
• Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding schedules and job progress.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Class A)
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred or required).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous experience in transportation, pest control, or fumigation is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for hazardous materials.
