Key Responsibilities for Design Engineers:

• Develop and design mechanical, electrical, or structural components and systems using CAD and engineering analysis tools
• Translate customer, business, and technical requirements into detailed engineering designs
• Create and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Perform simulations, calculations, and tolerance analyses to validate designs
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-efficient
• Support prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of designs
• Review and approve design changes and engineering change orders (ECOs)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings
• Continuously evaluate and improve designs for performance, reliability, and sustainability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, or related field)
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or similar engineering role
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
