Maintenance Technician

Located in Union, SC

Our client, located in Union, needs a Maintenance Technician.

Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
Pay:$28-$32/hr
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Read and interpret equipment schematics and technical manuals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance staff effectively

Also, Detailed knowledge of Mechanical seals, pump rebuilds, bearing replacement, gearbox replacement and welding/fabrication is a must
