Job Title:  Installer I - Helper/Apprentice

Pay:          $14/hour

Job Type:  Full-Time | First Shift

 

Position Overview: Supports the installation team by performing labor-intensive and preparatory tasks while developing the skill required to become a fully capable HVAC installer. Ensures jobsite safety, equipment handling, and customer property protection while learning installation procedures to company standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead installer and senior technicians with all phases of HVAC system installation
  • Transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites safely
  • Prepare work areas including protective coverings, debris containment, and equipment staging
  • Assist with removal of existing HVAC equipment and components
  • Support installation of ductwork, piping, wiring (as permitted), and equipment placement under supervision
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness throughout the project and perform final cleanup
  • Load and unload trucks; verify materials against job requirements
  • Maintain organization of tools, inventory, and truck stock
  • Follow all safety procedures including PPE use and ladder safety
  • Observe and learn proper installation techniques and manufacturer requirements
  • Assist with documentation tasks such as photos and serial number recording when directed
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level position; mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Prior construction or trade experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
