Night Shift Machine Operator (Hose/Extrusion)
Location: Guelph, ON
Pay: Competitive (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday)

About the Role
Express Employment Professionals Guelph is hiring two Night Shift Machine Operators for a local manufacturing company. This is a long-term evaluation hire opportunity with strong potential for permanent placement for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and operate a hose extrusion line
• Load raw materials into extrusion machinery
• Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation
• Perform quality control checks on finished hose products
• Measure product using calipers and standard measuring tools (inches/feet)
• Assist with wrapping and preparing hoses for shipping
• Work closely with a team member throughout the shift

Job Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience (stable work history preferred)
• Prior night shift experience is an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good math skills and ability to read measurements (imperial)
• Experience using calipers or similar measuring tools
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs consistently
• Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
