Payroll Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Support Specialist to join our team in Oxnard! This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of California wage and hour compliance and experience with timekeeping and payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with California wage and hour laws
• Monitor and maintain timekeeping and attendance systems
• Investigate and resolve missing punches and timeclock discrepancies
• Implement and support payroll audit processes
• Train team members on payroll and pay practice procedures
• Assist with onboarding for both permanent and temporary employees
• Support general HR functions, including participation in weekly HR meetings

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of CA payroll compliance and labor laws
• Experience with time and attendance systems
• Background in payroll and human resources preferred
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
