Role Overview

Are you looking to earn some extra cash and enjoy a lively environment? A local wholesale flooring company is hosting its annual Crawfish Boil, and we need a team of energetic Event Helpers to ensure the day runs smoothly.

This is a one-day, temporary assignment focused on event support and facility maintenance. You will be the "boots on the ground" helping with everything from food logistics to keeping the venue spotless for guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Event Support: Assist with food runs, restocking supplies, and ensuring the crawfish boil area is organized.

• Janitorial & Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of the showroom, pro-shop, and restrooms. This includes mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down countertops and windows.

• Waste Management: Perform regular trash runs to keep the event area clear of debris.

• Traffic Control: Help direct guests and manage traffic flow within the parking or event area.

• Post-Event Cleanup: Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and the office space is restored to professional standards.

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift, with frequent bending, stooping, and squatting.

• Work Ethic: A "pitch-in" attitude and the ability to work efficiently with cleaning products, mops, and brooms.

• Compliance: Must be able to pass a Drug Test.

• Reliability: Must be available for the specific date and time listed (May 1st).

Work Environment

• Atmosphere: High-energy, outdoor/indoor event setting.

• Reporting: You will report directly to the Manager on-site for task assignments.
