Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 / hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time)
Role Overview
Are you a versatile professional who enjoys variety in your workday? A locally owned, family-run distribution company in Baton Rouge is looking for an Office Manager / Assistant to serve as the backbone of their daily operations.
This is not a typical "sit-at-the-desk" customer service role. We are looking for a true right-hand assistant—someone with a "can-do" attitude who is willing to wear many hats, from managing books to occasionally helping out in the warehouse. Primary Responsibilities

Office Administration: Serve as the first point of contact for the company; answering phones, greeting customers, and managing daily correspondence.

Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Utilize QuickBooks to manage basic financial data and ensure all records are accurate.

Executive Support: Act as a personal assistant to the leadership team, helping with daily tasks and administrative needs.

Team Support & Logistics: Assist in the warehouse approximately once every three weeks to help unload and document shipments (no heavy lifting required, just a willingness to pitch in).

Information Management: Efficiently navigate computer systems to input data and maintain company records.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in office administration or as a personal assistant. More than basic CSR experience is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic computer navigation.

Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in an industrial or distribution setting is a major plus.

Mindset: A positive, "all hands on deck" attitude. We are looking for someone flexible who is happy to help wherever needed.

Compliance: Must be able to pass a Background Check and a 5-Panel Drug Test.
