Express is looking for a reliable Janitor/Houskeeper for one of our great Tifton clients

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role involves routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and ensuring facilities meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• toilet paper
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repairs needed
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs)
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Report any hazards, damages, or security concerns

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10 am – 2 pm

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
• Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting)
• Attention to detail and reliability

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs .
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments.
