Temporary Forklift B Shift

Salary: $20.40/hour

Company Information: A waste/recycling disposal facility whose services include collection, transfer, disposal and recycling is hiring 1st Shift Forklift Operators to their team!

The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and is okay working in a unique environment. This facility is located on the southside of downtown Indianapolis. This nearly new facility features nice and clean amenities and a well-maintained workspace throughout.

Forklift Operator's Pay/Benefits:

Forklift Operator's Schedule:

• 5:45AM – 6:15PM
• Working a 2 day on, 2 day off, 3 day on pattern

You will get 36 hours in one week and 48 hours the next. Must be available to work holidays if your schedule falls on that day

Forklift Operator's Job Duties:

• Will use a sit-down forklift and clamp truck to move large bails around
• Will bring those bails to the production line, offload and reload
• Also responsible for loading and unloading the trucks
• Most of the work is equipment operating but you will also be asked to help with non-equipment duties as well

Forklift Operator's Requirements:

• Sitdown forklift experience is preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent coordination and communication with team members
• Must be reliable! This is a small crew so one person missing a day off work will make a huge difference.
