Quality Inspector

A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add a Quality Inspector on the Day Shift. This constantly growing company is looking for capable, flexible, and dependable candidates to add to their team.

 

Three-month evaluation-to-hire opportunity!

 

Duties:

• Perform component in-process and final product acceptance activities using engineering drawings and other specifications to determine the product's acceptance or rejection.

• Document inspection results in accordance with company procedures.

• Identify and report nonconforming materials using electronic systems.

• Work under pressure with competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and the team lead.

• Perform effectively in a highly detailed environment where mental focus and accuracy are essential.

Qualities, Skills, and Physical Abilities:

• The ideal candidate must be driven to deliver results and establish rapport, earn trust, and collaborate effectively with others.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about facilities.

• Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).

• Minimum two years of in-process and final inspection experience, preferably in a machining manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED required.

Pay: $19.00/hr.

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
