Job Title: Data Entry Clerk / Inventory Specialist

Location: Merkel, Texas
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk / Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering data, maintaining inventory records, and supporting daily operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proven inventory experience, and a consistent work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and update data in company systems
• Maintain and track inventory levels, discrepancies, and adjustments
• Process shipping confirmations and order entries
• Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls as needed
• Generate basic reports and assist with inventory analysis
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of inventory control or inventory management experience
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Stable work history with good tenure in previous roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
