Heavy Equipment Operator

Located in Pueblo, CO

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment including forklifts, cranes, and tractor-trailers to transport materials and products
• Load and unload cargo from trucks, storage areas, and production lines
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
• Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures
• Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks
• Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certifications/licenses for operating forklifts, cranes, or commercial vehicles (e.g., CDL if required)
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse, construction, or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard awareness
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
