Schedule: Day Shift 6:30am-5pm 4 days/week, Night Shift 3pm-11pm 5 days/week

Job Summary

The Industrial Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all production, kitchen, and packaging equipment throughout the facility. This includes CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures, floor sanitation, trash collection, utensils, pumps, tables, and overall production area cleanliness. This role supports production, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all food processing, kitchen, and packaging equipment

• Perform CIP procedures and follow sanitation protocols

• Lift and move hoses, equipment, and chemical containers weighing 20–80 lbs throughout the shift

• Maintain cleanliness of production areas using brooms, mops, and sanitation tools

• Wear required PPE including gloves, aprons, boots, and face/eye protection

• Work safely with chemical cleaning solutions (PPE provided)

• Stand, lift, bend, and crouch for extended periods

• Support production and quality teams as needed

• Maintain facility cleanliness and sanitation standards

• Complete sanitation logs and documentation to meet regulatory requirements

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Follow all safety standards, GMPs, and company procedures

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain accurate, detailed sanitation records

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred (food industry a plus)

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Forklift experience preferred

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
