Tooling and Mold Maintenance Technician
Located in Edinburgh, IN
Salary: up to $34/hour
Company Information: A company in the Edinburgh area is looking to add a skilled Tooling and Mold Maintenance Technician to their team!
The Mold Tool Maintenance Technician is responsible for assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and changing over injection molds to support production schedules. This role plays a key part in keeping molding operations running efficiently, safely, and on time.

Schedule:
- 2nd shift; Monday – Friday 2pm -10pm
- 3rd shift; Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am
- Training will occur on 1st shift; 6am-2:30pm and may last up to 6 months
Tooling and Mold Maintenance Tech's Job Duties:
- Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are production-ready
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair injection mold tooling issues
- Assemble and disassemble mold tools as needed
- Recommend improvements to tooling, processes, or equipment to increase efficiency
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Tooling and Mold Maintenance Tech's Requirements:
- Basic math skills, including shop or mechanical math
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models
- Strong understanding of mold tool construction and maintenance
- Ability to understand and follow technical verbal and written instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with injection mold tool maintenance and assembly preferred
