We are working with a well-established, family-owned distribution company that is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Yard Helper to join their team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
Compensation: $18/Hour

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Helper is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory, and customer assistance. This role requires a strong focus on safety, organization, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and organize materials in the warehouse and yard
• Pull and prepare materials for customer and branch orders
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities for accuracy
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse organization
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, yard, and equipment
• Assist customers with loading materials and address basic service needs
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift experience or certification required
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
