Accounting Services Leader

A well-established real estate brokerage is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting efficient day-to-day operations.

This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who values a collaborative environment and takes ownership of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Oversee all accounting functions, including budgeting and financial reporting
• Manage month-end and year-end close, audit preparation, and CPA coordination
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Prepare financial reports and provide insight to ownership

Operations & Commissions

• Oversee transaction accounting and commission processing
• Ensure timely and accurate closings and disbursements
• Maintain reporting for production and performance tracking

Payroll & Administration

• Coordinate payroll with third-party provider
• Support employee records, benefits coordination, and PTO tracking

Compliance & Insurance

• Manage insurance policies, renewals, and claims
• Maintain compliance documentation and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting systems
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications
