Distribution Company in the Santa Clarita/Valencia area is looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead. The job does require recent & related experience.

Company is seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, support team performance, and ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all processes. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage shifting priorities, and is committed to maintaining high operational standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse best practices.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Assist with workflow planning, scheduling, and task delegation to maximize efficiency.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to optimize operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
• Complete administrative tasks and reporting using Microsoft Office tools.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2–4 years of recent experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
• 3–5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Current, valid forklift license (required).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English (required).
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and motivate team members effectively.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Solid understanding of all general warehouse duties and workflows.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to move quickly and safely throughout the warehouse environment.
• Comfortable using manual tools and warehouse equipment.

Work Schedule & Expectations:

• Must be flexible and available to work overtime (OT) as needed, including weekends or extended shifts based on operational demands.
