Traffic Clerk – Metal Manufacturing
Location: Watseka, IL
Pay: $16.76 – $19.05/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

A local metal manufacturing company in Watseka, IL is looking for a detail-driven Traffic Clerk to be the backbone of their shipping and receiving process. From coordinating freight to ensuring documentation is flawless, you’ll play a vital role in keeping products moving and customers satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams

• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and transfer records in company systems

• Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documentation

• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure delivery accuracy and timeliness

• Communicate with carriers, drivers, and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries

• Assist with labeling and documentation to ensure compliance with shipping standards

• Support warehouse and logistics teams to maintain smooth shipping workflows

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in traffic coordination, shipping, or logistics preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or logistics software a plus

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift/move boxes up to 50 lbs as needed
