T-Shirt Printer – Job Description

Position Summary

A T-shirt printer is responsible for producing custom apparel using screen printing or other printing methods. This role focuses on quality control, efficiency, and meeting customer design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operate screen printing machines or heat press equipment
Prepare screens, inks, and materials for each print job
Align designs correctly on shirts and other garments
Mix inks to match specific colors and designs
Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
Maintain and clean printing equipment
Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
Handle bulk orders efficiently
Assist with packaging and order fulfillment when needed

Required Skills

Attention to detail (for design placement and color accuracy)
Ability to work with hands and machinery
Basic understanding of printing techniques (screen printing, heat transfer, etc.)
Time management and ability to meet quotas
Teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in screen printing or apparel production
Familiarity with design software like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes of garments

Work Environment

Fast-paced production setting
