Location: Woodbridge, ON (Steeles and Pine Valley Rd)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:45 PM)
Salary: $19–$23/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
Our client, a growing cabinet manufacturer, is seeking a reliable and motivated Cabinet Assembler to join their production team. This is a hands-on role with structured training and a clear path to expanded responsibilities across the production workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble cabinets and drawer boxes following production specifications
- Perform drawer assembly using clamps, glue, staples, and pins
- Install drawers and cabinet doors with precision
- Operate CNC router and edgebander (training provided)
- Use hand and power tools (drills, staple guns, pin guns, miter saws, measuring tools)
- Ensure accurate measurements and quality standards are met
- Package completed products for shipment or storage
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets
Training & Development
- Phase 1 (First 2 Weeks): Hands-on training in CNC operation, edgebanding, and drawer assembly
- Phase 2: Gradual progression into full cabinet assembly and installation tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in woodworking, cabinet assembly, or furniture manufacturing
- Comfortable working in a shop environment using basic tools
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong reliability and attendance
Preferred:
- Experience with drawer assembly techniques
- Exposure to CNC routers or edgebanders
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Payrate
- Payrate: $19-23 per hour (based on experience)
