Senior Quality Engineer – Redmond, Oregon 

We are partnering with a top-notch Central Oregon employer to fill a Senior Quality Engineer position.  This is a contract role for 6+ months with the ability to go long-term.

What You Get to Do!

  • Lead quality initiatives across production and product development
  • Develop and implement process control, validation, and inspection methods
  • Design and execute experiments to identify process variation and improve outcomes
  • Analyze data using statistical process control (SPC) to drive decisions
  • Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
  • Support design control, risk management, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Build and maintain key documentation (DHF, DMRs, technical files, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external labs on product testing
  • Act as a quality leader and resource across cross-functional teams
  • Take ownership of quality systems and influence real change
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers
  • Be part of a team that values accountability and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to product development and regulatory strategy
  • Step into a leadership role, even without direct reports
  • Help build and refine processes in a growing environment 

What You Will Bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality or Engineering
  • Strong experience with quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with CAPA, SPC, process validation, and root cause analysis
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally and influencing teams
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
  • Preferred experience in medical devices, pharma, or regulated industries
