Quality Assurance Technician Job Summary
As a QA Technician, you are responsible for inspecting products and deliverables to ensure they meet customer’s quality expectations. This includes first and last article inspections, hourly checks, sampling, and documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Quality Assurance, an eye for detail, and computer literacy for documentation.
Quality Assurance Technician Duties:
- Inspecting the first and last articles produced
- Conduct hourly quality checks
- Verify material usage and document production and waste
- Sample and test customer products per specifications
- Complete quality documentation and release products for shipping
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure QA inspections are meeting production schedule requirements
Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Two or more years of quality assurance experience
- Computer literacy (navigation and typing)
Quality Assurance Technician Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, push, and pull for entirety of shift
