Landscaper Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Landscaper.  This is a great opportunity to gain permanent employment with a growing company with generous benefits.

The Landscaper will have a solid, demonstrated mix of technical knowledge, physical ability, and attention to detail to perform successfully assist with installation, repairs, and maintenance of business park landscaping and irrigation systems.

Landscaper Responsibilities:

• Assists other technicians in the performance of installation, maintenance and repairs of landscaping and irrigation systems throughout the facility.

• Clears parking lots of leaves and debris daily.
• Cares for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks and walls.
• Mixes and sprays or spread fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides onto grass, shrubs and trees using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
• Mows and edges lawns, using power mowers and edgers.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Operates powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, trimmers and pruning saws.
• Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears, saws, hedge trimmers and axes.
• Follows planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, seed grass, or plant flowers and foliage.
• Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Occasionally assists Facilities Maintenance staff with service work orders.

Landscaper Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• At least six months of experience
