Paper Machine Operator

Located in Houston, TX

Salary: 21- 30

per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Paper Machine Operator to oversee the operation of paper converting and processing equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and performing routine machine adjustments and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor paper machine equipment to ensure consistent production output

Set up machines, adjust settings, and perform changeovers as needed

Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy

Accurately measure paper to ensure specifications are met

Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs

Maintain production records and report any discrepancies

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

Previous experience operating paper machines or similar industrial equipment

Strong measuring skills to accurately measure paper

Strong math skills for calculations and production accuracy

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment

Ability to read work orders and follow production specifications

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
