Customer Service Coordinator (Bilingual – English, Cantonese, Mandarin)

Location: Markham / Scarborough, ON

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday. 

Compensation: $18 to $20 per hour

 

About the Role

We’re hiring a Customer Service Coordinator for a fast-growing Building Materials & Design company supporting residential and commercial renovation projects. This is a client-facing role where you’ll guide contractors, designers, estimators, and homeowners through the renovation journey—from product selection to order completion.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout renovation projects.
  • Support contractors, designers, and homeowners with product selection and order coordination.
  • Manage orders, invoicing, and product codes accurately.
  • Learn and stay up to date on building materials, finishes, and product specifications.
  • Coordination between the showroom, warehouse, and client needs.
  • Delivering a high-touch, client-first experience from start to finish.
  • Travel between locations (Markham / Scarborough) as needed.

What You Bring

  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (must-have)
  • 2–3 years of experience in retail, especially in home improvement retail, is a plus (e.g., flooring, tile, kitchen & bath, building supply showroom)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with a variety of clients.
  • Customer-first mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • High level of ownership and accountability, especially with details. 
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in construction, renovations, interior design, or building materials.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Nice to Have (Strong Asset)

  • Experience in building materials, construction, or renovation environments is an asset. 
  • Familiarity with invoicing systems, product SKUs, and order management.
  • Experience supporting contractors, trades, or design professionals.
