Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Steward for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the department, including maintenance, and cleanliness of food preparation area.

 

Job Description:

• Pay rate $18 per hour 
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Long term | Full time 
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, back-of-house areas, storage rooms, and loading docks
• Assist with trash and recycling removal in compliance with health and safety standards
• Clean and maintain kitchen floors, drains, walls, and equipment
• Support culinary teams with basic food prep, stocking, and setup as needed
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
• Follow all food safety and OSHA regulations

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Level 2 background check required
• 6 months of food service experience, preferably in the kitchen
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend in English
• Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
