CDL A/B Delivery Driver

We are working with a well-established wholesale distribution company in Sarasota that is seeking a reliable CDL A or B Delivery Driver to join their team.

Schedule: Full-time (hours may vary based on delivery routes)
Compensation: $25/hour

Position Summary:

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering materials to customer locations, job sites, and other facilities. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service, as well as the ability to work independently throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
• Load, secure, and transport materials to various delivery locations
• Verify shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy
• Unload materials at delivery sites and obtain customer signatures
• Collect payments when required and resolve delivery discrepancies
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
• Assist with loading and pickups from vendors or other locations as needed
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A or B license
• Minimum age of 21
• Clean driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
