Shipping Coordinator; Reports directly to Shipping Lead

 

Required QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years demonstrated previous experience in shipping, logistics or other related field
• Maintain inventory in Made 2 Manage Software system
• Assist/Support accurate inventory control (as back up for Shipping lead)
• Pack product to be shipped against order
• Prepare and stage shipments following pick-list / back order  
• Set up and organize Jobs / Materials in daily operations; inclusive of all resources and products
• Load/Unload trucks
• M2M (shippers, inventory, etc.) with direction from lead and as a back up to lead
• Manage Daily operations with team at a detailed level
• Maintain Log for ordering/reordering packing materials and coordinate with purchasing.
• Will train and work in tandem with experienced and seasoned associates already on staff
• Step in for shipping lead as necessary
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail

 

 

PREFERRED:
^ Computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
^ Job Shop experience.

^ DOT Certification ; existing / active or attainable

 

EDUCATION:

High school or equivalent
