Pay:  $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compounding Technician to join our compounding lab team. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-sterile compounding, a strong understanding of pharmacy practices, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Our compounding lab is growing so we are seeking a member to join our team that is motivated.  We will also train individuals who want to work in a pharmacy environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare compounded medications in accordance with USP <795> and <800> guidelines

• Accurately measure, mix, and label pharmaceutical ingredients
• Maintain cleanroom and lab equipment to ensure required conditions
• Assist pharmacists with inventory management of compounding supplies and ingredients
• Follow all safety, documentation, and quality control protocols
• Maintain accurate records of formulations, procedures, and batch logs
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and lab improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

 

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Experience in non-sterile and/or sterile compounding
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow precise instructions and maintain documentation

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy
• Knowledge of USP guidelines and pharmacy calculations
• Familiarity with lab equipment (ointment mills, balances, autoclaves, etc.)
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical ingredients and formulations
