Salary: $20/hour

  • Independent Setup: Perform full setups on CNC press brakes, including tool selection (punches and dies), back-gauge calibration, and program adjustments.
  • Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret technical drawings, including understanding bend sequences, flat pattern layouts, and tolerances of ±.010 or tighter.
  • Precision Forming: Form a variety of materials (Stainless, Aluminum, CRS) ranging from [Insert Gauge, e.g., 20ga to 1/4"] while compensating for material springback and grain direction.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct first-article inspections using calipers, protractors, and height gauges to ensure 100% compliance with engineering specs.
  • Tooling Care: Maintain and organize precision-ground tooling; identify wear or damage to ensure consistent part quality.

Technical Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a precision sheet metal environment.
  • Programming: Experience with [Insert Control Brand, e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, or Mitsubishi] controllers.
  • Mathematics: Strong understanding of shop math, specifically calculating bend deductions and allowances.
