Property Manager – Affordable Housing / Tax Credit Community

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community in Weatherford, TX. This role requires strong knowledge of Affordable Housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance, along with traditional property management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, compliance-focused, and experienced in leading onsite teams.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily operations of the apartment community
• Ensure full compliance with LIHTC, housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws
• Oversee resident certifications, recertifications, and leasing files
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external compliance audits
• Supervise and support leasing, maintenance, and onsite staff
• Maintain strong occupancy while adhering to affordability requirements
• Handle resident relations, lease enforcement, and conflict resolution
• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, and monthly reporting
• Prepare and manage budgets and control operating expenses
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of multifamily property management experience
• Required: Experience managing Affordable Housing / LIHTC properties
• Strong knowledge of housing compliance, resident files, and audits
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Proficient in property management and compliance software
• Texas property management certification preferred
