About the Role

The Process Engineer plays a critical role in supporting both engineering and production operations by developing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing methods used to produce customer-designed parts and assemblies.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position ideal for someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and keep projects moving forward with accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and refine manufacturing processes to support efficient, high-quality production
• Program, set up, and assist with operation of CNC fabrication equipment
• Translate customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements into workable production methods
• Use engineering and manufacturing software to support planning, programming, and process development
• Partner closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to keep projects moving smoothly
• Help identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve workflow, quality, and overall efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and support for shop floor operations and production challenges
• Develop or modify tooling and fixtures to improve manufacturing performance
• Review part layouts, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and manufacturability
• Conduct inspections and documentation to verify parts meet required standards and customer expectations
• Assist with first-run validation, process checks, and production readiness
• Support troubleshooting and upkeep of CNC equipment and related machinery
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and recommend ways to enhance productivity and quality

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and machine programs
• Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment, including turret punches and laser cutting machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to a variety of audiences

Strong working knowledge of

• Manufacturing equipment and methods
• Engineering/programming software and CAD
• Materials and work instructions
• Quality assurance processes and standards
