Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Kansas City Metro (Cave Facility)
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM + Overtime as Needed
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to serve as the right hand to the Warehouse Manager in a high-volume assembly and distribution environment. This is a working lead role responsible for keeping the team on task, supporting daily operations, and ensuring productivity, safety, and accuracy across the floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations including assembly, labeling, packaging, and shipping
  • Operate a stand-up forklift (required) for material movement and truck loading
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
  • Ensure team members are on task, productive, and following procedures
  • Support production flow during both standard operations and high-volume periods
  • Assist with inventory movement, staging, and organization
  • Double-check paperwork, orders, and shipments for accuracy
  • Perform light computer work related to orders, shipping, and tracking
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact on the floor in support of the Warehouse Manager
  • Help train and guide team members on workflow and expectations
  • Reinforce safety standards, especially around forklift operations
  • Support bilingual communication across the team
  • Help maintain accountability and productivity throughout the shift

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Forklift experience required (stand-up preferred)
  • Spanish required (bilingual English/Spanish)
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, or assembly environments
  • Ability to lead by example and step into a leadership role
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with orders and paperwork
  • Basic computer skills
  • Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move materials regularly (50+ lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/cave environment with varying conditions
  • Comfortable working around machinery and forklift traffic

Work Environment

  • High-volume warehouse and assembly operation
  • Frequent use of stand-up forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Fast-paced production with seasonal demand spikes
  • Team-oriented environment with strong focus on safety and communication
