Warehouse Supervisor

Located in Sun Prairie, WI

Salary: $22/hr

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for a great opportunity in the Madison area! This position is ideal for a motivated leader with previous warehouse supervision experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, monitoring inventory, improving processes, and ensuring productivity, safety, and efficiency throughout the facility.

 

Pay: $22.00/hour

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

 

Work includes:

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily warehouse activities
• Tracking, analyzing, and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Conducting root cause analysis and resolving logistics and operational issues
• Selecting, hiring, training, guiding, and evaluating warehouse employees
• Addressing performance issues and making recommendations for corrective action
• Motivating and rewarding employees to support productivity and development
• Reviewing the timeliness of scheduled deliveries
• Coordinating cycle counts and monitoring inventory levels
• Ordering supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
• Continuously improving warehouse processes and workflow
• Making suggestions for productivity improvements
• Ensuring facility equipment is properly maintained
• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicating and collaborating with other team members and departments

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role
• High school diploma or GED required
• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
• Forklift Operation Certification required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations
