Teller/CSR

Salary: $15+ DOE

The Teller/CSR serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing prompt, accurate, and friendly service. This role is responsible for processing routine transactions, assisting with account inquiries, and promoting bank products and services that meet customer needs.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Balance cash drawers daily and comply with bank policies regarding cash handling and transaction limits
• Identify customer needs and refer products or services appropriately
• Maintain and safeguard confidential customer information
• Comply with all compliance, security procedures and operational guidelines
• Support the branch team with daily operations and contribute to branch goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous cash handling, customer service, or retail experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in basic computer operations and software
