Express Employment Professionals is preparing to hire for a metal manufacturing company in the Bradenton/Sarasota area that is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service & Accounting Representative to support both front-line customer service operations and internal financial/accounting functions. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, customer-focused, and experienced in accounting or finance—especially in a manufacturing environment.

This hybrid role requires a unique blend of interpersonal communication, attention to detail, and technical accounting knowledge.

Customer Service Duties:

• Deliver exceptional bilingual customer service (English/Spanish), addressing customer needs, order requests, and delivery follow-ups promptly

• Build lasting customer relationships through clear, professional communication

• Identify sales opportunities and support customer development initiatives

• Maintain customer records in the Point of Sale (POS) system

• Accept and process payments (cash, credit, debit)

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction

Accounting & Financial Duties:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Perform inventory cost accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of production variances and profitability

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal policies

• Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and fixed asset management

• Work with production and supply chain teams to assess operational financial impact

• Improve accounting processes for greater accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

• 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or accounting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

• Strong math skills and attention to detail

• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office

• Effective communicator with strong telephone and interpersonal skills

• Prior experience in manufacturing or metal industry is a strong advantage

• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus (but not required)
