Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations for a busy flooring company. This role is responsible for managing inventory, supervising staff, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient handling of flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, carpet, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control

• Manage and track flooring materials, ensuring accurate stock levels and organization

• Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks to meet productivity goals

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including deliveries to job sites

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed

• Ensure proper handling and storage of flooring products to prevent damage

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits

• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries

• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience

• Experience working with construction or flooring materials preferred

• Forklift experience required (certification preferred)

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
